Child, I walked out of slavery with a baby on my hip and a quarter in my pocket, and the man who owned me stood there asking how I thought I would eat. I told him I would work, and I did. You have got more than a quarter and you are asking me whether to keep it safe.
Safe for what? Money in a drawer does nothing but wait for you to die. Now look at your idea the way I look at a crowd: is it true, and can you show it? If it is true, then sell the shadow to support the substance, put your face on it, walk it from town to town, and let the Lord and the market decide.
If it is not true, no savings will make it so. But do not sit there talking about safety while the thing you were sent to do stands outside the door.
