Let me tell you what I know about betting. I grew up in the projects of North Philly with a praying mother and no cushion, and every real thing I ever got came from putting my whole self on it. So here is my question back to you. Is it an idea, or is it a standard?

An idea is something you like. A standard is something you get up for every day whether anybody is clapping or not. If it is a standard, bet. Bet with a plan, bet with your people around you, bet knowing the first year is going to smack you and you are going to show up the next morning anyway.

If it is just an idea, keep your savings and keep dreaming, because dreaming is free and betting is not. Nothing derails you if you know why you are in it. Figure out the why first. Then go.
